Welcome to the American Rhythm Center

The American Rhythm Center (ARC) offers a variety of dance classes for dancers of all ages and levels. Check out our current class schedule.

The ARC offers dance and movement classes in a wide array of styles including tap, jazz, Giordano technique, Indian dance, and Bollywood. In addition to dance, we offer fitness, Nia, and Tai Chi.

Experienced dancer educators from some of Chicago's leading dance companies, many of them luminaries in their own right, teach at the ARC.

Our beautiful new studio space is located in the Fine Arts Building at 410 S. Michigan, walking distance from CTA's Brown and Red lines, Metra, and many buses. The ARC offers discounted parking at nearby lots. For more information, click

The American Rhythm Center makes it fun and easy to fit dance into your day.
